A: Amazon is voluntarily recalling AmazonBasics School Classroom Stack Chairs as they may break posing a fall hazard.

A: Amazon is voluntarily recalling AmazonBasics School Classroom Stack Chairs in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).



Q: Have there been any injuries?


A: There have been no injuries reported, but we have received incidents that the chair has broken.



Q: How can I tell if the products I purchased are affected?


A: All AmazonBasics School Classroom Stack Chairs are affected were sold online from Amazon.com between January 2019 through January 2022.



Q: What is the company doing as a remedy?


A: Amazon will be offering customers who register and acknowledge that they have disposed of the chairs, a full refund.



Q: What should I do?


A: Consumers should stop using the chairs immediately, dispose of them in the household trash, and register to receive their refund.



Q: Can I continue to use my unit?


A: No. If you still have this product, we urge you to stop using it immediately and dispose of it in the household trash.



Q: Where can I find my Amazon Order ID?


A: Amazon notified impacted customers directly and provided the Order ID(s) within their direct customer email communication. You can also find your Order ID by visiting the ‘Orders’ page within your Amazon account.



Q: What type of refund?
